Singe grew up in the darker parts of Delta, stealing food and random trinkets or snooping around where he doesn't belong. His single mother went missing one night, so Singe currently lives with Romaer -a local poet and roguish flirt- until they both find her. Because he couldn't shoplift everything he wanted without getting caught, Singe works part-time at an Ice Cream Parlor to pay for the candy he stole continues to steal and eventually afford his own fireworks.
