Rue used to be a performer but has let their anxiety and insecurities get the better of them and fears they have lost their touch. Their sort of clumsy nature doesn't help these feelings. Because of this, xe have started withdrawing in on themselves and have taken an indefinite hiatus from performing. Despite their current mopey clown act they are relatively easy to cheer up.
Xe named their beetle like familiar Sable. It's hard to tell what Sable is thinking most the time as their face can't be very expressive but they seem to have a close bond.
